Position: Sr. Manager – Electrical & Automation Design & Development
 Location: Sari, Ahmedabad
 Reporting To: Vice President – Corporate R&D
 Compensation: ₹14–17 LPA (depending on candidate profile & experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Electrical & Automation Design & Development function. The ideal candidate will bring 12–15 years of domain expertise with proven leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and a passion for driving innovation in automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Lead the design and development of electrical & automation systems, ensuring innovation, safety, and compliance with global standards. 
- 
Mentor, guide, and manage a team of engineers while fostering a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement. 
- 
Collaborate closely with mechanical, embedded electronics, software, and production teams for seamless product integration. 
- 
Drive R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely delivery and quality benchmarks. 
- 
Evaluate, adopt, and implement advanced automation technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. 
- 
Prepare detailed technical reports, provide expertise to internal stakeholders, and offer support to customers when required. 
Preferred Background & Experience
- 
12–15 years of experience in Electrical & Automation Design / R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership or mentorship role. 
- 
Strong technical expertise in electrical panels, industrial automation, SCADA, PLC programming, and control systems. 
- 
Proficient understanding of sensors, motors, drives, and automation hardware/software. 
- 
Hands-on experience with industry practices and standards such as IEC, NEMA, and NFPA. 
- 
Demonstrated track record in managing end-to-end automation solutions and delivering results in R&D environments.
