Job Title: Packing Supervisor

Location: Ahmedabad
Experience: 3–4 Years
Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical/Industrial or relevant field)
Salary: ₹4 – ₹4.5 LPA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Packing Supervisor to lead and manage the packing and dispatch functions of light to medium-sized equipment and spare parts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of packing standards, inventory management, team coordination, and dispatch planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute and supervise daily packing and dispatch activities in alignment with the dispatch schedule.

  2. Ensure proper packing of machines, equipment, and spare parts as per quality and export requirements.

  3. Coordinate effectively with PPC, Production, Purchase, and Commercial departments for seamless operations.

  4. Monitor packing material availability, optimize usage, and control inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking.

  5. Manage contractor and subcontractor teams involved in packing and dispatch operations.

  6. Maintain accurate records and generate reports for packing, dispatch tracking, and traceability.

  7. Drive system improvements in plant and warehouse related to 5S, Kaizen, and overall packing quality.

  8. Ensure zero customer complaints through consistent quality packing practices.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong hands-on experience in packing and dispatch of light and medium equipment.

  • Ability to lead teams including contract labor/subcontractors effectively.

  • Good knowledge of packing materials, packing cost control, and export-related documentation.

  • Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, lean practices, and manpower optimization.

  • Effective team coordination and cross-functional communication skills.
