Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Tanzania
Salary: $2,000 to $3,000 per month

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, technically sound, and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the group’s multiple divisions. The role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations, preferably in the African region, and a strong understanding of technical production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across all business units.

• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve efficiency, cost optimization, and innovation.

• Manage day-to-day operations, production, sales, and international marketing activities.

• Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.

• Drive technical excellence in processes and support adoption of advanced European technologies.

• Define and track KPIs, monitor budgets, and manage financial performance.

• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

• Oversee talent development, team motivation, and organizational growth.

• Submit timely operational reports and business insights to the Board of Directors.

• Support ongoing training, upskilling, and lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Promote collaboration, innovation, and accountability at all levels.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering or related field (MBA or Operations Management is a plus).

• 7+ years of proven leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in cement bags, raffia, packaging, or garments.

• Sound knowledge of quality control, production planning, cost control, and lean systems.

• Familiarity with European machinery and modern technologies.

• Experience in Africa or international markets preferred.

• Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication, financial acumen, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Fluency in English is mandatory; Swahili is a significant advantage.

Preferred Industry Background

Manufacturing – Woven Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Garments, Technical Textiles, FMCG Packaging, Industrial Products, or similar sectors.
