Garments Production Manager

Job Description:

Job Title: Garments Production Manager 
Location: Uganda 
Experience Required: 10–15 Years
Salary Range: ₹20–25 LPA

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete garment manufacturing process—from planning to final production—ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Supervise stitching of bottom-weight garments such as cargo pants and safari suits, with hands-on knowledge of heavy fabric stitching.

• Coordinate with design and sampling teams to ensure proper execution of garment samples and optimal resource utilization.

• Manage inventory levels, stock control systems, and optimize material usage for production efficiency.

• Develop and implement process improvements to boost productivity, reduce production costs, and maintain high quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address challenges related to fabric sourcing, stitching methods, and finishing techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 10–15 years of experience in apparel production management or a closely related field.

• Educational qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Engineering or relevant discipline (preferred).

• Strong understanding of garment export regulations and procedures.

• Exposure to international markets and experience with garment exports is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with garment production workflows, quality control systems, and team leadership in a high-volume manufacturing setup.
