Job Description:
Position: Fleet and Workshop Manager
Location: East Africa
Reporting To: Operations Manager / Director
Location: East Africa

Salary: USD 2,000 – 2,500 per month (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Managing complete fleet operations, including truck performance tracking, driver monitoring, and maintenance scheduling

Monitoring fuel consumption and optimizing routes

Ensuring compliance with transport regulations

Overseeing diesel stock levels and timely replenishment

Leading workshop technicians for servicing, repairs, and inspections

Managing tyre inventory and maintenance
-
Generating daily fleet performance reports (truck-wise, driver-wise, fuel usage, maintenance costs, incidents)

Implementing cost-saving initiatives and ensuring fleet optimization
Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Strong experience in fleet/workshop management
-
Knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle maintenance

Experience with fleet tracking software

Strong leadership and reporting skills
